Lamia Ashour is a wardrobe and personal stylist with over eight years of experience helping clients express their individuality through fashion. She is also a creative director, collaborating on photoshoots and visual projects to bring style stories to life. Of Palestinian and Syrian heritage, Lamia blends her cultural influences with a love for color, texture, and playful details. When she’s not styling, she enjoys connecting with friends and family, finding inspiration in everyday moments, and bringing her signature energy and positivity to everything she does.

Dr. Hassanah El-Yacoubi is a doctoral candidate in Religious Studies at the University of California, Riverside. She focuses on women in Islam, specifically on the role identity and body politics have played in reversing the narrative on American Muslim women. Her research revolves around emerging Muslim identities cultivated by millennials through the global phenomenon of Islamic fashion, which has altered the ways Islamic culture is performed and perceived. She is also a leading fashion and lifestyle influencer where she is dedicated to creating cross-cultural and inter-religious understanding through fashion, and was ranked as a top modest fashion influencer by The Huffington Post. She is the host of the largest Modest Fashion Convention in the United States dedicated to support female entrepreneurship through fashion, faith, and fellowship. Hassanah was awarded the Mellon Advancing Intercultural Studies Fellowship in Religious Identity by the Center for Ideas and Society at UC Riverside for Spring 2018.

Fatima Ibrahim is an eye doctor with about ten years of experience in primary eye care. She is also a lifestyle content creator with a love for fashion, food, flowers and enjoying the little things. Fatima grew up in Chicago and has lived in Texas for about 6 years now with her family. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends.

Fatmah Muhammad is the founder and owner of Knafeh Queens, a business in Rancho Cucamonga, California, that specializes in traditional Palestinian knafeh. She started the company with her daughters in 2018, sharing her mother’s recipe and using food to build bridges and foster community. Her work is driven by a mission to share her Palestinian heritage and has garnered significant recognition and support

Heifa Odeh (Fufu) is a mom of two boys with Palestinian roots, and is passionate about making Palestinian and Middle Eastern recipes simple and fun. My goal is to help you feel confident cooking these delicious dishes for your family, so you can enjoy a little taste of my culture at home.

Leanne Mohamad is a British Palestinian activist known for her impassioned advocacy for the Palestinian cause, particularly focusing on the rights and struggles of Palestinians. Her activism began at a young age and has included public speaking at various forums, including the UK parliament.

Hakeemah Cummings is a modest fashion stylist, content creator, and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering Muslim women through style and faith. Hakeemah’s work centers on the belief that faith and fashion are not mutually exclusive, and that hijab is a powerful expression of our dignity as Muslim women

Dena Qaddura is a first-generation Palestinian American, born in Texas and raised to be a proud Palestinian Muslim. Growing up in the food industry, I discovered my passion for cooking early on. I love sharing the flavors of my heritage by breaking down traditional Palestinian recipes into clear, accessible measurements—something our community has long needed since many of our moms use real cups and spoons that vary in size. Beyond tradition, I’m a foodie at heart with a love for charcuterie boards, tacos, and a good cup of coffee.

Amanda Saab is a chef, activist, and educator recognized for her appearances on MasterChef and for founding Dinner With Your Muslim Neighbor, a nationwide initiative bridging communities through food and conversation. A social worker by training and Program Director at Detroit Food Academy, Amanda uses food as a tool for justice, youth empowerment, and cross-cultural understanding. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Today Show.

Yomna Sarhan is the Founder & Director of L-Lab, a play-based, immersive after-school enrichment program for children ages 5–9 that blends language immersion and life-skill development through fun, global-minded experiences.

Yomna’s passion for Every Pregnancy stems from both professional values and a deeply personal journey. Having survived a life-threatening pregnancy complication and having delivered her baby prematurely, she understands firsthand the importance of timely and accessible pregnancy care. Yomna believes that the equity and accessibility ethos that drives L‑Lab- empowering every child to thrive and succeed- begins long before the classroom, by supporting pregnant women and mothers in line with the mission of Every Pregnancy.

Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Yomna brings cross-cultural insight, a global perspective, and a heartfelt commitment to helping mothers and children thrive across borders.

Sarah Mughal Rana is an MPhil student at the University of Oxford, studying at the intersection of economic policy and human rights. Beyond the page, Sarah works in tech and co-hosts the On The Write Track podcast, where she spills the tea with bestselling authors. Her short fiction has appeared in several anthologies. When she’s not writing, you can find her diving into history rabbit holes or honing her skills in traditional martial arts. Sarah is the author of the YA title Hope Ablaze. Dawn of the Firebird is her debut fantasy trilogy for adults.

Asma is a Mother, Doula, Educator, and Photographer committed to transforming the way Muslim families experience pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Her journey into birth work began with the birth of her first child. Moving through the system both as a new mother and a doula, she quickly recognized a significant gap in accessible, faith-informed education—and an urgent need for culturally competent, evidence-based, and respectful care within Muslim communities.

Asma’s work is firmly rooted in accessibility, anti-racism, cultural competence, and advocacy. She believes deeply that healthy parents and valued children are essential to building a stronger ummah, and she strives to make this a lived reality, bi’idhnillah. Every service she offers is grounded in a culturally sensitive and faith-centered approach.

Over the last decade, Asma has supported dozens of women through smoother pregnancies, helped families gain clarity and confidence in their birth preferences, guided partners in finding meaning and connection in this transition, and empowered parents to take charge of their birth and postpartum journey.

A self-proclaimed anatomy and birth nerd, Asma is committed to lifelong learning. She is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Evidence-Based Birth® Professional, Certified Body Ready Birth® Instructor, and Certified Body Ready Method® Professional specializing in functional mobility for pregnancy and birth. She is currently furthering her lactation support training through The Thompson Method (TM) and looks forward to integrating this knowledge to support families through their life-changing journeys.
